Annapurna Range from Pokhara

Pokhara is the base for treks into the Annapurna Region. With a burgeoning population of 800000, the streets of the lakeside area were still remarkably quiet and laid back compared to the sitfling scenes encountered in Kathmandu. From here, there are excellent views of the Annapurna Range if the light permits. On this evening, we rushed up to the top of our hotel roof to catch this sunset while we were actually heading out to dinner.
