Tiger Leaping Gorge

Hiking along the Tiger Leaping Gorge upper trail is a pleasure that any hiker should treat one's self to. It passes through many small Naxi villages and guesthouses and from the upper trail, superb views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain are visible along the whole route. Sunset and Sunrise are particularly stunning and in the night, stars are visible all round due to the lack of city lights in the surrounds.
This was taken just before dawn as the sun backlit the distant mountains.
