Reviving an oldie from 2008. Marianne and I did the overland track for the second time in November 2008. One of my favourite spots from our experiences there is the dawn that occurs over Mount Oakleigh from Pelion Hut on the 3rd day of walking. This shot was taken with the 20D and p size filters back before we went to full frame. Not as sharp as I would have liked but still a very poignant reminder of the scene.
We ended up staying another 4 days on the track and ended with very bad weather at Pine Valley at the track's southern end but it was another memorable experience in the tassie wilderness .
