Diving into deep light by Dee-T Diving into deep light by Dee-T
Milang Jetty
South Australia

This morning's weekend foray into the countryside took me to Milang along the shores of Lake Alexandrina. The last time I was there, the water level was literally at least a metre lower. It was good to see the lake filled to the brim! The weather itself was pretty terrible but as often happens, some of the best light happens when there's even the tiniest of breaks in the weather, which happened at dawn. I haven't seen many pictures of this jetty so I hope what I came home with was original!

Great composition! I was just about to ask if you used a filter or blended two exposures but then I noticed the answer in one of the comments:)

I love the bending leading line you created with the jetty - and I concur with you that the best light is always just around the corner in bleak weather :D
Great mood and colours...

Wow. Yes, this is original. Great work in capturing such moody light and bringing out the really nice tones. The balance of colours is perfect.

Great composition, and short window of light peaking through - been experiencing and shooting very similar sunrises lately.

I find the same thing with photos - one of the things I love about photography. That and the fact that the photos you plan are rarely as good as the spur of the moment ones. Anyway - gorgeous photo, beautifully exposed. :)
