Cradle Mountain, Tasmania

Taken at dawn on a day of blizzard and snowfall in November 2008. The wild weather of all seasons presented itself in many forms during the trek.

What a great shot! Is the date right? I'm surprised to see snow there, considering November would be spring/early summer there.

Cradle mountain is a fantastic place all year round - the weather there unpredictable such that even in the height of the australian summer it can be snowing in the area - and that it was happened to us as we started out trek!
