Thorsmork
Iceland
This shot was taken from a small mountain with excellent panoramic views called Valahnukur. The river being lit up is the river Krossa. It is located in the Thorsmork mountain reserve which lies in the south of Iceland. This reserve is at the head of three glaciers. Its southern wall is bordered by the recently pulicised volcano Eyjafjallajokull. All around the area there is evidence that ash has changed the landscape and river directions have also changed. Despite this, the greenery of nature seems to have prevailed once more thankfully!
