Kopasker, Iceland

Kopasker was the northernmost part of our trip to Iceland - falling less than 1 degree latitude south of the arctic circle. We used it as a base to explore the nearby national park.

5 minute's drive south of Kopasker lies this very sheltered body of water which was dead still during our visit this year. The water itself was beautiful but I went exploring to find something more interesting as a subject. Fortunately, I stumbled across this old boat sitting behind a cove. I ended up taking many compositions of this boat and I think this is one of favourites.

Everything is perfect, and the colors are gorgeous!

How great with a boat that has a bit of colors to contrast the environment. Usually boats are solid colors or 2 at tops, this was a nice one to see.

Good composition here, a bit too dark on the left hand hill, otherwise good.
