Skogafoss , Iceland

As Marianne and my upcoming holiday approach, I continue to think of last year's trip to Iceland and how we can redo some of the same images.
Skogafoss was one of the undoubted highlights and we intend to walk further inland from the top of the falls.
I wonder if the whole area will be black from volcanic ash though.
