The stars of Lake Tekapo are a wonder to behold!
This image was created from 40 of the timelapse frames I took. From here - I think any more and the trails would be far too intrusive (as it is I think there are already too many star trails).
I've been asked by many (sometimes accused) if these shots from Tekapo are composite images. The answer is no - the lighting on the church is from the town of Tekapo on the right and the stars really are incredible there! If there are any lingering doubters, pay the area a visit
