I had only previously been to this location at Dawn. My wife Marianne and I headed down here rushing to get down to make it for sunset just after work. As we were starting to set up, the sun started to appear below that thick band of cloud . This gave rise to that intense sliver of red light in this iamge. For 10 minutes we watched the light and silhouettes of incoming showers and snapped away.
This image taken at F16 with the 40D, 10-20mm lens and 2 stop reverse GND.
